This is a nice pair of Antique English Crystal Salts with Silver Rims. They were made by William Henry Sparrow Co. (W.H.S.) of Birmingham, England in 1912. This is based on the hallmarks impressed on the side of the rim The symbol of the anchor is for Birmingham, the lion passant is silver and the letter n is for the date 1912. In addition to being used for salt, I always use these wonderful small glass salts to hold a votive. They look wonderful lit on a dinner table or could also be displayed anywhere in your home.
