Los Angeles Potteries Apple Cookie Jar
This has a design, and look, similar to the Franciscan Apple, but this one is different, and marked Los Angeles Potteries, 520, inscribed on the base. We know nothing about the company. The apple, leaves, and blossom decoration are raised, and hand painted.This jar is 9" high, with the top on, and 7" around, at its widest spot. No chips, or cracks, but has an unglazed strip on the jar rim. May be a very limited edition, hard to find jar.
