The book is claret red cloth, 8" X11", with gilt embossed cover illustration, and gilt page edges. There are 56 pages, and 4 plates. Omar Khayyam was a mathmatician/astronomer who lived in the 11th century AD, but he is best known for his poetry in praise of wine, love, and earthly pleasures. This deluxe volume was printed in England, London and Glasgow, by Collins Clear-Type Press.
