Unusual Sewing Item, Advertising Calendar/Pin Cushion
This is a beige cardboard wall hanger, 6" X 10". Around the perimeter is a brown rope with a bow at the top. The company represented is "The Edward Wren Co., The Largest Department Store in Central Ohio". Under the copy is a small calendar, January 1922. To the left is a paste on photo of a comely young lass, holding a puppy. A daughter of Mr. Wren? Below this are the sewing notions. Two hooks fold out, and hold spools of thread. Between these a 1 1/2" in diameter grey felt pin cushion, 5/8" thick, stands ready to hold your pins and needles. Please take a look at the photos to reveal a one of a kind sewing notion.
