French Engravers and Draughtsmen of the XVIII Century, Lady Dilke

This first edition, 1902, was compiled by Lady Emilia F. S. Dilke, and printed by the Chiswick Press. It is green cloth, with gold titles, 7 3/4" X 11 1/2", 228 pages, with 50 full page illustrations/engravings. This volume contains engravings of the works of the Comte de Caylus, and sixteen artists who exhibited at the French Salon, or the Academy of St. Luke. This is a library copy, with black tape over the spine, and frayed edges. The interior, text and plates, are in fine condition, and ready to frame, if you so choose.
