Elegent 1920's Silver Fox Wrap
I remember, in the late 50's early 60's, in church, staring at the lady in the pew in front of me, wearing one of those red fox stoles, with faces, and dangling feet. The wrap predates these by decades. This silver fox is not one of those! No head, feet, or beady eyes. The silver tipped fur is long and luxurious, and the pelt came from a large animal. The wrap is 48" long, including the 21" long, bushy tail. It is 9" wide, folded over, sewn down the center, with fur on both sides. There is a tortoiseshell finish plastic chain, 14" long, sewn on where the tail joins the body. The photos don't do it justice, but please look at them to note the color, and quality of the fur.
