Battles and Leaders of the Civil War, 4 Volume Set, Thomas Yoseloff
These articles appeared as a series in The Century magazine, between 1884-1887. They were written by the leading Generals,and officers, from both sides, who had planned, and fought in, the battles, and skirmishes, of the Civil War. The 4 volumes contain nearly 2 million words, and 2,000 prints, plates, and illustrations. This is the 1956 reprint of the original. It was compiled by Thomas Yoseloff in 4 cloth bound books housed in a cardboard slip cover. The volumes are near mint. They are a bit faded on the spines because that is the only area exposed to the sun. The slip cover also shows wear.
