The Bru, considered the cadillac of French Dolls. She has a most delicately executed pressed Bisque socket head, lovely penetrating gray blue paperweight eyes with delicately painted upper and lower lashes. A closed mouth with shading and accents, slightly molded tongue between the lips. Pierced ears with pretty pink earrings...and a blond human hair wig made in France, over a cork pate. Her original wig was of mohair. She is wearing an antique child's dress that I supplied. Her shoes are original blue leather with a P on the leather soles. I purchased her in 1986 at a doll convention in Chicago from Ralph Griffith...a well know doll dealer at that time. Some of the paint is chipping from the body of the doll please refer to pictures. The head is in perfect condition ...no chips, cracks or any other damage. She comes with a straw hat that I made.
