German Bisque Doll All Original with Box

Here's a great Christmas gift for someone! In fact, it was a Christmas gift 84 years ago. This 8" German bisque doll is still sewn into her box. I have not tried to remove her. I did turn the head enough to see that she was made by Herm Steiner. I've also pried up the wig in the front to put a little paper in the head. Doll is on a 5 piece, crude body and wears her original dress. She also has gauze type undies. The mohair wig is original, but not great quality and you can see some of the paper under the hair. The box is very fragile and worn. The end says Germany, the corners are stapled and the lid is even more worn out. The inside of the lid says "Merry Christmas to Maria" (what are the odds of that!?) "from Momma Dec 25 1928". How sweet! I do not see any damage to the head, but again, I have not removed her from the box. There is some overall light soiling from being packed away. Dress & body, although crude, are in great shape. Nice Christmas present, even if for yourself!
