Southwest Style Sterling Silver Cuff Bracelet..Beautiful Green Turquoise.

Classic Navajo style Sterling silver bracelet. This piece reminds me of the style that 60's and 70's craftspeople would create. We used to cut our own stones and set them in Southwest style rings, bracelets, and pendants. The imperfections in the pieces were characteristic of the handmade nature. In this case, the bezel had a space in the joint and a bend in the bezel when the stone was set. The stone is really a beautiful color of green Turquoise. Many times, if the stone was not cut deep enough for the bezel, we would back them with epoxy and sawdust. Some Native American pieces also used this method. This is a great piece of nostalgia. The bracelet tests positive for sterling silver. It measures 5" around inside. The top measures 1.25 inches. The cabochon stone size measures 32mm x 20mm- freeform.
