1950's Madame Alexander Cissy Fashion Doll & Wardrobe
I offer to you, from my personal collection, my Cissy doll with clothes & accessories. Cissy is not in mint condition. Although, a wonderful display doll & has given me much pleasure over the years.
Condition: She does have a split in her crotch & a small repair on her thigh(see pics for condition). Her lips are great. Her eyes open & close. She does have a slight issue were her arm & shoulder meet.The rubber pops out slightly when moving her arm. (This is common with these dolls.) But then I would just tuck it back in & it is as good as new. Her legs move & knees bend. She has no nail polish on hands or feet. Her hair is ok. It is slightly thin in back but does cover her head. It could use a little styling. If you know how to set dolls hair it would look beautiful. I am including a beautiful bridal dress that was homemade. The person I bought it from said that it was made from a vintage brides gown.(probably a mom using part of her wedding dress) also a stunning red dress with black lace & rhinestones covering it. This is also vintage & homemade. There are a pair of arm coverings & a large piece of black tulle to use as a cloak. There is a M.A. tagged pink gown as well. I have also included three newer made dresses. These all look great on her. The bridal gown's veil comes with a jeweled crown, earrings & a necklace. When I bought this I did not realize the the necklace was two pieces of jewelry connected. I think it was a smaller size with a bracelet that was combined into one. There is a Premier vintage necklace(green). I made a black & rhinestone necklace out of vintage beads. The sliver shoes for the brides outfit is not perfect condition. The straps on one have come apart in the back. Cissy still wore them. They were in this condition when I purchased them. I was going to try & repair them but never did. All in all you get one silver, one red with flower, one black with grey bow, one pink slip on & one red with gem stone( this one says Dolshoe on its bottom) & one aqua with flower. Six pairs in all. A white lace chemise. There is another dress, the one I bought her in. It is silk & delicate but lovely on her. There is some tearing to the silk on the bodice. Also are included two straw hats, pair of pearl earrings with a necklace.There are several pair of nylons. Black,sea green, tan & nude. One pair of the tan has a run/tear on one leg (near the seam on the back of her leg)
There is also a pair of pantyhose. Five pair in all. There is a pink beaded M.A. purse too. I wrapped the silk dress to keep separate
from other items. The one straw hat maybe an M.A.. It is missing some flowers on the rim. But you can stage this on her so as not to see where they are missing. I am trying to be as complete in my descriptions as possible. Please check the pictures & if your are needing more let me know.
