On offer is a Victorian period Scottish pebble jewelry pin set in its center with a faceted round cairngorm in a lovely shade of pale cognac color. The pin is made of sterling silver (marked, see photo) and features 6 "petals" separated by spacer elements which are engraved and each "petal" is set with a pale green semi-circular slab of Scottish stone. I am unsure as to what the stone is, but perhaps a form of granite or agate. The piece measures 1 1/8" in diameter and 1/2" thick including the pin. The cairngorm is 5/8" in diameter. The pin mechanism is the "c"-clasp type from the Victorian period with the pin extending beyond the edge of the pin itself. It is in good working order and the pin is in good used condition with no significant damage. A great addition to a collection of Victorian period and/or Scottish pebble jewelry.
