Voluminous and Dramatic Black Wool Hat

Made of the highest-quality wool, this dramatic black hat has a tall, rounded crown and a nice wide brim.

The brim, which tends to be straighter near the front and back of the hat, curves upward on the sides creating an exceptional elegant look.

The left side of the brim is attached to the left side of the hat, allowing it to keep its shape.

A ribbon of gorgeous black and white grosgrain wraps around the outer-band and terminates on the left side in a big square bow.

This is where you will find fun and colorful feather accents. The shorter feathers are brilliant turquoise blue while the dramatic black feathers shoot upward and curl at the ends. These are a sexy accent that give the hat added drama and height.

Inside, you will find that the hat remains unlined as it is often unnecessary to include a lining in woolen hats of such exceptional quality.

The original designer's fabric label is stitched to the interior of the hat and reads "Miss Bierner". You will also find the manufacturer's mark imprinted on the underside of the crown; it reads "Doeskin Felt, 100% Wool, Geo. W. Bollman & Co., Inc., Made in U.S.A."

The square bow shows some minor fraying while the hat and feathers exhibit only the tiniest amount of expected wear.

Overall, this spectacular high-drama hat remains in excellent vintage condition.
