This is an incredible Edwardian demi-parure consisting of a gorgeous silver bracelet and necklace.
Both pieces are wonderfully ornate and remain in incredible antique condition, exhibiting almost no darkening and very little wear.
The necklace is bib-style and features five three-tiered swags of ornately linked chains with flat beads in between. Two tears of chain lead to the clasp.
Each of the flat beads is embellished with applied three-dimensional flower shapes and include a tear-drop filigreed bead dangling from the bottom.
Every quatrefoil link of chain is embellished with the same flower shapes that adorn the spacing beads.
The bottom edge of the bracelet is trimmed with dozens of tiny silver balls which move beautifully.
The bracelet is made with the same kind of chain, with three vertical quatrefoil joints in each row. Both the necklace and bracelet feature a secure intersecting catch or "pin" closure.
The silver shows some slight oxidation commensurate with the age of the pieces but remains in fantastic condition overall.
This is clearly from an Asian/Indian origin and is a vintage piece with the most amazing construction.
It is opulent and absolutely beautiful. It is a statement set that will garner HUGE attention. The quality of the construction and design style scream quality.
It is very unusual and will make a wonderful addition to any vintage jewelry collector's wardrobe.
