ca 1945-48 Coro Pegasus Darling, Sentimental Brooch Locket

Founded in 1901, by Emanuel Cohn and Carl Rosenberger, the Coro Craft Jewelry Company produced exquisite items of unique jewelry like this locket brooch well into the 20th century.

Here is an adorable vintage brooch locket from Coro dating from approximately 1945's.

The brooch part is in the shape of a regal fleur-de-lis with really pretty detail while the locket is simple and clean with only a delicate scalloped edge.

It opens to reveal four spaces for photos, though the plastic covers and frames are missing.

The Coro "Pegasus" maker's mark can be seen inscribed into the interior of the locket as well as "Patent Pend". This particular maker's mark was used on Coro jewelry in 1945.

Coro Craft and Coro Pegasus were the top of the line pieces by Coro.

Though it shows a few light surface scratches, this cutie is still in great vintage condition!
