ca 1911 9k Yellow Gold Signet Ring - Unique Design and Sweet

The ring is demure (cast in gorgeous 9k yellow cold) and wonderfully stylish, it features simple pierced ornamentation while the face remains un-monogrammed.

There is a surface scratch on the face, but it does not detract from ring’s overall beauty and should polish well.

There are a number of hallmarks stamped on the interior of the ring. There is first, a grouping of four: two of these read “9” and “.375”, for 9k gold.

Next is a lower-case “q”, which indicates that the ring was made in 1911, and finally, a leopard’s head, the symbol of the assay offices of London.

On the opposing side of the interior there is a mark which reads “BW&S”.

The ring exhibits some expected surface wear, but we did not polish this item so the owner can polish to their preference.

Measurements: Size: 7 ¼ Face is 5mm tall and 6 ½mm long, upper shanks measure 4mm wide and taper to lower band which measures 1 ¾mm wide Weight: 1.92 grams
