This extraordinary bag, however, is made from stunning snake skin. Python is typically used for bags like this, but their scales are big and gaudy, so Leiber has created this astounding bag with the smaller more delicate skin of the karung snake.

In a dazzling ivory color, this clutch is a bit larger than the more commonly seen rhinestone-encrusted minaudieres. It features the classic button-clasp adorned with a shimmering faux pearl where you will also find a little decorative gecko, also covered in karung skin, and embellished with rhinestone eyes. His body is 14k gold plated.

A long strap can be removed from the inside of the bag for easy shoulder carrying; you’ll also find a number of extra goodies! Within the bag there is a gold-plated comb with golden tassel, an extra coin purse made from sumptuous ivory grosgrain as well as a small mirror nestled inside its own light-blue “Judith Leiber” dust bag.

The interior of the handbag is lined with this same luxurious grosgrain fabric. Finally, you’ll notice the interior boasts the traditional gold-plated plaque which reads “Judith Leiber New York”.
