These vintage Christian Dior sunglasses are over-the-top chic. They date from the late '80s but continue to embody a timeless, elegant look as only Dior can.
Substantial, bold frames in a creamy shade of butter-yellow makes the sunglasses a great accessory all year round.
They have an incredibly unique look and yet have that go-with-everything quality.
The large, oblong lenses are framed by silvertone accents on the outer-edges.
These applied highly-reflective silver-colored decorations have a fun futuristic look and exhibit the "CD" logo on both sides.
The yellow frames are subtlety accented with arbitrary red stripes.
They make a nice compliment to the creamy color of the frames without taking away too much attention from the sexy shape.
As you can see, the arms are quite wide where they meet the face but taper considerably to the ears.
These glasses are incredibly comfortable.
There are several marks printed on the interior of both arms; marks on the left arm read "Made in Germany, 2346, 70, 62-16". "2346" is the model number of this particular pair of sunglasses.
Marks on the right arm include "Christian Dior" in big, bold letters as well the copyright symbol and the logo for the light-weight plastic "Optyl".
The heat-hardened plastic "Optyl" was invented in the 1960's by Carrera founder Wilhelm Anger and weighs almost 20% less than acetate.
These shades are in absolutely spectacular, near-mint condition. You'll love the way they feel and look!
