This beautiful necklace has all the hallmarks of the 1930's aesthetic. These include the filigree spacers, the baroque pearls, the seafoam green art glass beads, and the rhinestone surrounded faux mabe pearl clasp.
This beauty features intricate brass findings, high-quality faux pearls and dazzling glass beads, and a skillfully integrated box clasp.
The dark spot on the faux pearl clasp is not a defect, it is a reflection from the camera.
The 4-stand necklace alternates faux baroque pearls, green AB faceted glass beads, and then toward the neck, the beads change to translucent glass, with swirls of green colors.
The clasp measures 3/4" tall by 1/2" wide and surrounded by clear AB crystals. The largest of the baroque pearls measures 4/10" inch.
The glass beads between the amber seed beads and the clasp are glass and the colors are shades of green and measure 1/8" tall.
The soft greens against the pearls make this a soft, yet bold necklace. It is a statement necklace to be sure.
From the front, the height of the necklace from the shortest strand to the bottom strand measures 2".
In excellent condition, the necklace measures 16" long.
It has great weight and character and is of obvious quality.
