This fantastically swanky vintage glass and decanter set are a beautiful example of the styles that pervaded the Eames Era.
This set is so retro cool, it will make a great addition to the right bar setting.
The Atomic Age or, "Atomic Era," started in the early 1950's and ushered into the United States a revolutionary aesthetic, departing from the gray and gloom of the '30s and '40s.
The high-tech furniture of designers Charles and Ray Eames skyrocketed in popularity at this time, which is why it is sometimes concurrently referred to as the Eames Era.
This stylish bar-set features a decanter, tapered at the top for optimal aeration and two matching glasses.
Each piece in the set features a bold pattern comprised of graduated white square shapes along with highly-reflective gold banding.
We would highly suggest these only be hand washed, so as to not wear the gold finishing.
While some of the finish shows the occasional scratch or sign of wear, the set remains in good vintage condition.
Measurements: Decanter measures 8 1/4" tall, 4 3/8" at widest point, Base is 3" in diameter (317.7 grams) Glasses are 2" tall, Rim is 2" in diameter, Base is 1" in diameter (38.5 grams, each) Total Weight: 394.7 grams (13.9 oz)
