Elegant 1970's Manon Suede and Lace Evening Clutch

Dating from the 1970's, this little beauty is from Manon, an American company that specialized in very high end stylish leather handbags and accessories starting in the 1960's.

This clutch is a really great size, measuring almost 12 inches long.

The exterior is covered in sexy black lace while the sides and flap are accented with luxurious black suede leather.

As you can see, the leather that accents the flap has a fun scalloped edge and is embellished with lots of pretty brass beads.

A black suede strap is attached flush with the back of the evening bag. This feature makes it so comfortable and so easy to carry.

Inside, you will find that the evening bag is completely lined with divine black satin and feature two pockets perfect for cards, cash and compacts.

The original screen-printed maker's mark can be seen above the back pocket and reads "Manon" in elegant gold script.

A little matching coin-purse is attached to the interior of the clutch with a length of lovely gold-tone chain.

The clutch closes with a simple snap under the front-flap.

There is a small, light spot on the back of the clutch. With only a tiny bit of wear to the brass accents and the interior, this gorgeous clutch remains in fantastic vintage condition.

This is a must-have for black-tie season.
