Sterling Silver, Orange Stone, Turquoise Blue Leather Necklace

I really wish I knew what the stone is. Due to the color of the orange, I think it is a stone that was color treated. I don't know how this kind of uniformity of color could be achieved, otherwise.

It is nice that they are set in sterling silver, but what captures me about this sixteen inch necklace (that I will lengthen with an extender chain) is the overall way it looks.

The silver tone metal holding the orange stones and providing end caps for the leather is sterling silver. The dolphin artist's signature bead is the lead free zinc alloy that used to be called "Tibetan Silver". So far as I can tell, the pendant is also lead free zinc alloy. The round spacer beads are high quality. I think they are silver plated pewter.

I also believe that the orange and turquoise blue decorations in the feathers are turquoise and coral, but the center of the pendant, I think that is turquoise howlite.

The colors fit together beautifully with the Native American Style pendant.

And I love making necklaces that combine leather, knots, stones, sterling and interesting pendants.

Because of all of the above, I think this is a collectable worthy item of some value, but I'm just the artist.
