REALLY Powerful BIG Power Woman Nepalese Beaded Necklace

The message the necklaces were intended to convey to the woman wearing one of them was "I am an empowered person who feels effective and valuable in anything I undertake, responds to the rare insult without reacting or devaluing she who insulted me, thinks carefully and then acts in proper timing in the face of a potential power grab by someone else, and has assertiveness skills so well developed that they are always under my command and within reach. My assertiveness skills are my key power woman signature in behavior, and they keep me moving forward with high self esteem and healthy feelings of entitlement to the good things my work and life outside of it have to offer."

To those who see a woman wearing one of my power necklaces the message they were then and still are intended to convey is, "Here is a really impressive woman. I'm so attracted to her. She obviously has a lot of self confidence to wear that necklace, and I do know that self confidence is the most attractive characteristic a person can reveal. She's magnetic. She's charismatic. Maybe I'll talk to my boss about getting her a promotion to OUR department." They are also meant to convey to staff at doctors' offices, "Don't keep me waiting, and don't mess with me." :)

I sold a lot of these necklaces, and then, I think I moved so single-mindedly into making earrings and trying to build social media networking that I took a break from this line. I also returned to making leather items which had been one of my hallmarks even before I came on board on Ruby Lane.

It's the middle of winter, though, and lately I'm feeling moved to make power woman necklaces again. I think it's okay if people don't rush out to buy one. Perhaps just having a few in the shop so women can read the psychological truth behind them is good enough.

I listed one last week, and now I have one for this week. I'm keeping the prices way down, because people are understandably wary as we climb out of the recession without much confidence things will continue to improve. (Reminded we are power women,though, quiets fears about the future and reminds us confident women always do okay. They always know there is room at the top and they know they can reach the top of the mountain any time they need to.

If no one buys THIS Power Woman Necklace sometime soon, I may dismantle it, because I have a lot of ideas for designs that would incorporate that wonderful elephant pendant. So, if you are drawn to the necklace, you might want to buy it now. I will adapt this one to your specifications. I'm not doing that with other necklaces, but then, I am always at the command of a Power Woman. She is someone I want to serve.

For a while, though, I won't take this necklace apart. It will be here for you to contemplate buying for a while. I don't tease or pressure visitors to Dolphin Designs. Maybe someone will buy it, too, making my day for me.

The elephant pendant hangs below some of the biggest beads I've ever used in a necklace. Both the orange resin beads and the wooden beads are from Nepal, one of the two countries I'm always writing are at the top of the world. (They are. Nepal and Tibet's people live out their lives so high above sea level that they are above the tree line. Sometimes I look up into the clouds and think about over a million people living up there.)

The end caps on the beads came with them. They are a safe lead free zinc alloy as are the other spacer beads on this powerful piece.

The necklace is twenty four inches long. It can be made longer with an extender chain. I don't think anyone would want it shorter. The pendant, too, hails from Nepal.

The orange cats-eye dolphin is up at the clasp for a reason. It is my artist's signature. You will find some kind of dolphin up at the clasp on all of my necklaces.
