Petite Round Faceted Clear Briolette Earrings with Swarovski Crystals

I'd been saving my only two clear, faceted briolette teardrops circular beads until I had a good idea for the top portion. After all, these are little. I was working with magenta Swarovski bicone crystals on a necklace, and suddenly "saw" that they were the fix I was looking for.

The gold tone parts are gold plated copper, for the most part. But the wire that keeps these beauties together is 18K gold filled wire. From the same wire I made two earwires to go with the pair.

For newcomers, I want you to know that I always send a "surprise" pair of earrings with a pair for which a customer pays me money. This is because I'm not always comfortable charging the minimum twenty dollars a pair that is required by Ruby Lane. It's also because I'm generous and love making earrings.

I try to use my imagination to match the bonus pair to what I think my buyer will like. So, if she buys animal earrings, her "surprise" will be a different kind of animal earrings. Generally if someone buys a pair of briolette earrings, the surprise is another pair of briolettes. I tend to use the same metal tone that is in the ordered pair. Thus, if you order a pair with silver tone parts, I will craft your "surprise" with silver tone parts unless you alert me at checkout that you'd prefer variety. I extend this practice of matching customer's tastes to Larimar, but there isn't generally very MUCH Larimar in the "surprise" pair. (All the Larimar I use, though, is valuable and costly for me to stock. I only use beautiful, high grade pieces of authentic stone.)

From the top bends in those handmade gold filled earwires to the bottom of the clear briolettes, the measurement is 1.25".
