Ornate American Sterling with Figural Handle Glue Pot
Presenting an ornate American Sterling Glue Pot with a figural handle. The glue pot which was part of a desk set is the only survivor of what must have been a very expensive and ornate desk set. The glue pot stands 4 1/2" tall from bottom to top and its sterling bottom is decorated a trio of angels or cupids. The ornate top has flowing design and its handle is topped with a half shell with a lady's head inside. The feel of this sterling glue pot is amazing ! Minimal use wear. The manufacturer of this wonderful glue pot is Mauser. Circa 1890
