Early Victorian Pair of Child's Shoes Two Tone Brown

Featuring an early Victorian pair of child's two tone brown shoes. On the side of the shoe is imprinted a German word and a number and on another side of the shoe is the number 4. The colors of the shoes are shades of a medium brown.with a strip of reddish brown in the front near the buttons. The bottom part of the shoe has the deepest color and then the color ranging to lighter shades. The shoes are low rising. There are 3 buttons on each shoe and the button area is accented with a darker leather. There is a soft feel to the leather in the shoe and the insides look very good. As expected, the shoes show wear but could be improved with some TLC. They measure almost 6" in length and stand 2 1/2". Circa 1860-1870. s
