Porcelain Figural Needlecase of a Lady's Forearm Holding a Bird's Nest

This is an early Victorian Porcelain Figural Needlecase. The Porcelain Figural Needlecase is that of an elegant lady's forearm with a bird's nest in her hand. The end of the needlecase is brass is a sole flower design on it (see photo). The needlecase dates from the 1820's and is in extremely good condition. I need not tell sewing collectors how rare it is to find a porcelain figural needlecase and one which displays such great detail and quality -- even to displaying the bird's eyes. There is very minor wear to some of the paint detailing but other than that I can find no damage. The length of this needlecase is 3 1/2"
