Pedestal Medium Brown Pierced Vegetable Ivory Thread Holder

A pedestal medium brown pierced vegetable ivory thread holder would be a wonderful addition to your sewing tool collection. The thread holder stands 2" tall and has an overall pierced design. It is very ornate. Damage occurs on the interior rim with a chip of the top is missing but it is still able to turn and close (see photo). Dating of this thread holder is 1870.
