Small Green Transferware Handleless Cup and Saucer

A small green transferware handleless cup and saucer will be a welcome addition to your transferware cup and saucer collection. The cup measures 2" tall and 3" across. It features a scene by a fountain with a castle in the background and the color is a nice soft dark green. The saucer bowl measures 5" across and repeats the same scene. The pattern name is Genoa with a manufacturer's mark. The glaze on both the cup and saucer is very thick and so the cup and saucer feel very smooth and unworn. The only flaw is some staining done when the transfer were applied to the cup. Dating of this cup and saucer would be around 1850.
