Oval Portrait in Filigree Frame Brooch/Pendant

Featuring a delicate oval portrait of a pastel coloring 16th century lady. I have showed that under her chin appears to be a signature. The frame which encloses the portrait is a dainty filigree with a rope trim. The portrait can be worn as a brooch or used as a pendant. The backing is silver .800 and I did not remove the backing to inspect the portrait close up. The glass which is on top has a slight convex shape to it. Everything about this brooch is very dainty ! The brooch measures slightly less than 1 1/2" across and 1 3/4" long. The pin part of the clasp has been bent but still attaches correctly. See photo.
