Intricate Wood and Mother of Pearl Inlay Walnut Box
What a treasure box !! An inlay mother of pearl and walnut box in excellent condition. The box is made up of small pieces of wood and mother of pearl inlaid in a stylish pattern. There are no missing pieces. Open the box and the front piece comes down as if it is a writing desk. There appears to be a small staining on one of the inlay -- ink perhaps?

The details in the making of this box and the extra care to achieve this look indicates that this was made by a talented craftsman and was expensive to be purchased. Brass keyhole is there but no key. The photos tell the whole story. Condition is excellent !!
The box measures 10" tall x 3 3/4 inches wide and 3" tall.
