Victorian Window Valences

Overall the valences measures 41" wide by 7 3/4" tall and 3 1/4" deep. The opening size is 37 1/4" wide by 3" deep so they will fit nicely over a 36" window (including the molding).

The molded frame is attached to a solid piece of pine and includes wooden pulleys in the top to accommodate drapery cords. The solid top also provides a handy shelf for use in displaying dishes, pottery, etc.

The style and manufacture of these valences suggest a late 1800's date and you can just picture these in a late 19th Century Victorian home.
