Copper Whale Weathervane

Here is a classic, full-bodied whale weathervane with an untouched verdigris surface. He measures 39" long, 17 1/2" tall at the tail and is 3 1/2" in girth. He stands 22" tall in the contemporary metal stand.

He is wonderfully shaped with great three dimensional detail, especially in the tail and face.

Commercially produced most likely in the late 19th or early 20th Century. This whale has style, size and surface - an unbeatable combination.
