Early Pewter (" Plate with I D marked on front and Lion Gateway Touchmark on Back

Here is a 9" early pewter plate with I D marked on the front. The plate has a 1 1/8" rim which includes a 1/4" bead. The back has a "Lion in Gateway" touchmark. There is also another imprinted mark with lettering that cannot be clearly distinguished.

This plate was found at a CT. estate sale and could possibly be from one of the Danforth, CT pewterers.
