Graceful Early Pine Bucket Bench

Most bucket benches were simply made and relegated to the porch or backyard - this bench is not one of those. We were taken with the style and simple elegance of this bench. The upper section sides gracefully curve to a top rail with real character. Just below the top rail there is a narrow utility shelf that adds interest and utility to the piece.

The condition is consistent with age and function. The middle shelf has a significant hole that we prefer to call a "natural drain hole." This just adds to the character of the piece.

The color is especially compelling. Likely not the original surface but a culmination of years of honest use and upkeep. The bench measures 36" wide by 49 1/2" tall and 12" deep.
