Pair of mother-of-pearl Baer & Wilde Kum-A-Part 1920s Art Deco snap cufflinks. Cufflinks are comprised of a 1/2" in diameter mother-of-pearl disk topped by a 1/4" in diameter stamped brass disk the bottom of which is painted black with the oval design left in natural brass. This all sits atop a silver tone snap cufflink base. Half of each set is stamped "KUM-A-PART REGSTD ", The other half is stamped "BAER & WILDE". Difficult to see, there is a very small amount of wear to black paint. Other than that, cufflinks are in excellent vintage condition and still snap together tightly.
Baer and Wilde, a part of the Attleboro (MA) Manufacturing Company, designed the first Kum-A-Part snap cufflink in 1918. By 1936 this company would be called Swank.
