ca. 1950's Owen Bros. Silk Pajamas

Looking for a pair of glamorous, luxurious, silky, pajamas, to cozy up in this winter season? Take a look at this fabulous pair from OWEN BROS. The label says hand embroidered, Hong Kong. These date to the early 50's and the quality of the fabric and the craftsmanship are truly fine. The fabric is a striking red Damask with black silk bordering the sleeves, the mandarin collar and the front closure. The pants are in black silk with button closures at the side of the waistband and are trimmed in the red Damask from the bodice. The hem is a hand finished baby hem The bodice has very heavily padded shoulders, think late 40's, and fasten down the front with frog closures. It is fully lined in black silk. You will not want to hide this fabulous set in the bedroom.

Condition: Very Good - Excellent. There is minor wear to the hem of the bottoms and some very subtle dye bleed. I have had this cleaned so it is fresh and ready to wear.
