Bagley is known to have produced approximately 9 different lamp patterns all of which are rare however this particular example is an exceptional scarcity which uses the incredible qualities of Uranium green glass.
It is the Tulip pattern lamp No.3025 which was introduced by Bagley in 1936 in two different shapes, with the other example having its top facing outwards.
The lamp has been beautifully moulded as a stylized tulip and the use of matt-satin frosting not only disguises the light fitting, but it also provides a luxurious finish to the glass. I have shown this piece lit from behind with a UV black light, however can you imagine just how sensational this lamp displays when lit from inside by its very own UV light bulb! It is a phenomenal example of interior Art Deco home décor and its appeal is timeless.
The glass is in excellent condition, save for the tiniest of `nicks' to the top rim which is mentioned here for accuracy of description and it does not detract. The lamp has been re-wired to comply with modern-day safety however please note that I shall remove the plug from the wire flex before this item can be shipped to any destination as is a regulation when mailing vintage electrical goods. The light fitting is for standard/universal bayonet bulb.
It would be difficult if not impossible to locate finer example than this for your collection in this glass colour variant, and as an investment piece its value is destined to continue to rise...
