Whether you collect or admire fine English china, this set is a delight. It is also a rare seldom seen and sought after pattern by Royal Albert circa 1920.
The set comprises a trio of Cup & Saucer, Side Plate and large Bread Plate all in pristine mint condition. It is gorgeous.
Established by Thomas Wild in 1896 Royal Albert Crown China can be traced back over 100 years to a small family business based in Stoke-on-Trent, England.
The brand was inspired by the English country garden and its national flower, the rose. This quintessential English grace, elegance, and romance accounts for Royal Albert's timeless popularity, which fuses indulgent floral motifs and luxurious decoration, and this set is no exception.
Shown as photographed here, it becomes a delightful interior display, upon a side table or a dresser for example, or subject to individual requirement, as a set of useable items with which to `spoil oneself' or as a truly charming gift for someone special.
The colour-way is a white background with bold floral decoration and rich cobalt blue with gilding, none of which is missing. There are no signs of this set having ever been used and there are no hairline cracks, chips, restoration repairs or crazing to any of the four separate component items. The entire set is as good as new for you to cherish, admire and to adore.
