Boxed Chanel No. 5 Perfume Bottle 14ml T.M.P.

Chanel No.5 is a classic.

It is a scent that is timeless, and even though this bottle is empty one can still smell the remnants of its wonderful perfume.

I have only just recently discovered my late Mother's `horde' of perfume bottles, and this is just one example found with several others in her dresser. Many of her perfumes are obscure to me, as this is not an area that I am knowledgeable about... However, I have certainly heard of Chanel No.5 before and my guess is that this bottle & box dates circa 1970s.

As can be seen, the front label of the bottle is no longer present, however their remains other sufficient information which can establish this piece as being vintage & genuine, and besides, My Mum would never have settled for anything less... 

The all important Chanel logo is impressed upon the plastic (?) case and it also carries the T.M.P MADE IN FRANCE stamp to its base. The front label of the box is also intact, though of course is not sealed.

The all-glass bottle is pristine. The stopper is the original facet cut lozenge shape and as like the bottle it is glass. The base of the bottle carries a contents label of 14ml and has a moulded mark: CHANEL 14ml ½ fl

I have absolutely no idea if this presentation would have been inside of an outer sleeve or perhaps wrapped with an acetate film. All that I know, is that this bottle will make a worthy addition to your collection at this offer price, as the iconic classic that it is.
