Sabino Poisson Chabot Opalescent Crystal Glass Fish Figurine

I adore this fish pattern by Sabino. It displays wonderful curvature and movement, superbly detailed mouldings, and a wonderful golden-blue opalescence all rolled-into-one. It is one of the best pattern types by Sabino, and the glass of this example is sublime.

It is classed as being medium in size, and as such it is very appealing & eye catching as a stand-alone piece, or it can bring additional splendour to a group.

As can be seen from other varieties of glass fish that I am offering from my collection, I personally display them within small to large aquariums, which not more than just help with a safe display space, but also add a certain grandeur to these cherished items in a naturalistic way...

Sabino have pulled out of the stops to represent one of the ugliest of all fish (?) into an item of beauty... The sculpin fish (poisson Chabot) is a critter of the seas which Mother of Nature arguably failed with... In nature it is quite a grotesque, spiny, ferocious looking thing and yet Sabino have presented it as a fish of unquestionable beauty, and very Art Deco in style.

I am offering you this Sabino fish at low cost for your investment. It is signed & undamaged and a real beauty... Grunting-Sculpin or not. (smile)
