Very Old Tibetan Buddhist, Silver & Copper Yin & Yang (Yan) Mandala Necklace pendant.
Not to be confused with modern-day reproductions or Chinese exports all of the pendants that I offer are vintage period Nepalese Bhutanese, Tibetan or Mongolian of origin and were purchased by me during one of many stays in Nepal circa 1980s & 1990s.
This fabulous example is Nepalese and has been hand made using Tibetan Silver & Copper, set with beads of Coral & Turquoise.
As a Talisman charm of protection and good fortune, Yin Yan is recognised as being one of the oldest and best-known life symbols in the world and has been used by many cultures including ancient Celtic and Imperial Roman.
This piece is best visually described by means of my group photography which forms a major part of its significant description.
