During the worldwide period of Art Deco press-moulded glass, few glassworks can compare to the incredible items as were produced by Walther & Sohne of Germany.
Anybody who may be unfamiliar with the Art Deco glass produced by Walther, need only to look at further examples of their works currently listed here in my shop. Each and every, display Art Deco pressed glass quality which is second to none, and the very best of its period, in terms of price.
HERE, for your appraisal is a wonderful Walther glass vase. It is the Windsor pattern and was introduced by the factory circa 1934 and what fabulous vases they truly are.
Produced in three different size types and using the various colours as were used by the glassworks, these stunning examples are not just simple pieces of glass, but works of art and a major force to be reckoned with, coupled with quality and timeless appeal.
The wonderful transparency of the vessel itself is lovingly supported by a kneeling pair of embracing ladies of the 1930s. Each lady has been beautifully defined & detailed using matt satin frosted glass. The vase is quite simply gorgeous, and just how it GLOWS and comes-into-life evermore when lit with UV black light. This is a scarce colour-type for this pattern.
You may wish to make comparison, with the medium sized peach-pink glass example currently offered here in my shop. Both vases were manufactured by one of the most incredible & historically important German glass factories of the 20th Century.
Walther & Sohne.
Walther & Sohne understood with total perfection, the qualities and the remarkable optic effects that could be achieved using press-moulding techniques and variants of glass thickness other than just the design itself.
This enables their glass to capture and to refract light throughout each piece so to produce evermore dramatic appeal, to the working medium that is glass.
Unbeatable & never forgotten and a total joy to covet, this is a wonderful gem of a piece for your collection and who could possibly wish to disagree?
It is also offered to you in mint condition. There are no chips, cracks or damage and the mouldings are pristine. Just the tiniest of a surface air bubble is evident, of which I have tried best to show within my photographs. It could not be deemed to be a distraction which again my photographs undoubtedly portray.
Please appreciate that this vase has been sale priced reduced substantially. Further offers cannot be considered for this vase, during this current Sale Price.
