As with many sets of such types, there is no maker marks to be found or not that I can see, except for: MADE IN ENGLAND which has been gilded embossed between the bristles of each brush upon their wooden base-parts.

The lacework of the tray is exquisite and is held between two sheets of glass which are framed with a yellow metal & filigree handles. The tray is also raised upon delightful feet to each corner and is a beautiful example which can stand alone in its own right as a fabulous decorative item.

Both of the candlestick holders show obvious signs of use, as intended, and so wax is evident inside each which I have not attempted to remove.

It is a charming set of its type & vintage and would make an ideal gift or to be cherished as your own keepsake.
