The “Berry” pattern dish has been produced by Sabino, in two sizes. A small 5” dish and this larger example of 8” in diameter.
It is a sublime example of Sabino opalescent glass, thickly moulded to its underside with three separate arrangements of summer-fruit berries and stylized foliage, each of which also provide supports for the dish.
This dish is exceptionally tactile and it pleases the eye wherever it is displayed. Ever-changing hues of magnificent opalescence, shimmer across the surface of this fabulous piece.
It rings like a bell and is free of damage. No nasty chips or cracks or scratches etc. It is also signed to its centre inside in moulded relief: SABINO PARIS – FRANCE
