This 'WYNDHAM' pattern 1333 trinket boudoir set by Bagley, is particularly uncommon. It was introduced by the company in circa 1933 together with a wide range of same pattern items including a clock, several vase styles, wall pocket vases and book ends.
Its straight-line Art Deco design was an instant success.
The boudoir set as offered here is an early example. Each component piece bears its Rd No.790452 signifying an early date of manufacture.
The set comprises of: A large tray, a pair of column candlesticks a large lidded box & cover and one smaller. All have been press-moulded using a quality amber coloured crystal. There is one tiny "nick" to each candlestick as is shown however these do not detract and are mentioned for accuracy purposes only.
This VERY slight damage has been reflected in the price.
You will find it difficult to locate a further example of this set, in any colour glass variety outside of private hands.
