FAB 1930's English Art Deco Large Oak Wood Picture Photo Frame.
It has an eye-catching "Sky Scraper" design, with two vertical columns in stepped geometrical style. The base has also been fashioned with the same Art Deco formation.
All that is required is replacement glass/sheet plastic if required. Simplicity to say the least.
As can be seen by my photographs, a groove is provided for the glass (or a modern day transparent equivalent) the size is as measured and as stated below.
The aperture will accommodate a picture size of 11" x 7"
As you can imagine, this is an essential item for Art Deco décor. A family photograph or a period picture looks stunning within this frame. It blends in with neighbouring Art Deco objects perfectly and is a must-have item as a display upon a shelf or a period piece of furniture for example.
I was of the mind, to turn this frame into a lamp. Designing a coloured stained glass Deco style insert which would suit this frame tremendously . . .
