The colour of this vase is quite obscure. A typical characteristic of Victorian era glass, as well over one hundred different colours of glass were developed and patented during these times here in England, alone.
This vase example dates to before circa 1918.
The vase is of trumpet form with opposing frilled top with vaseline glass appliqué and a turned crystal foot, all mouth blown & hand tooled in Stourbridge,England.
It has been coloured olive-green over green-turquoise and is entirely unique in both colour & form. The spun foot is particularly large to give both sturdiness and symmetry.
The pontil mark is un-ground & non polished.
It is a must have piece for collectors of such vintage glass and is offered to you here completely free of any damage...
