English Satin Frosted Glass Vase by Bagley. Bristol pattern 3145
It was introduced by Bagley circa 1946 and as with most Bagley glass was produced using most of their colour range, including Jetique.
It is the "Bristol" pattern No. 3145
The gondola, elongated shape, makes quite a statement. The vase is also very tactile and has been satin frosted to its exterior only. The inside remains smooth & highly fire polished.
A trapped air bubble is present which is not rare for these items of pressed glass. Great pressure was needed to manufacture this glassware,as is evident upon many such items of the period.
