Here is a superbly moulded 1930s Art Deco Uranium Green Glass Vase, produced in England by Sowerby.
As can be seen by my photographs this glass quite literally comes alive when displayed using UV light.
That said, it still remains a beautiful item in whatever lighting conditions or setting, standing proudly & beautiful in its colour shade of chartreuse green.
Sowerby glassworks were prolific producers of such items during the mid 1930s, having established themselves along with George Davidson and Henry Greener, for example, as the most finest producers of English pressed glass of early production dates during the 1800s.
This vase was also produced in two size variations. The one here is the larger of the two and is a stunning example of its type.
The moulded decoration of zig-zag patterns is echoed upon the top rim of the vase, whilst the round foot compliments the over-all design of the piece with fine Art Deco styling.
It is a worthy vase which will add grace and charm to collectors of such items and it is offered to you here completely free of any damage.
Sensible offers for this piece shall be entertained and considered.
